EuroKids guideline to what to expect from gaining a casting/audition to being booked for the assignment!

CASTINGS & AUDITIONS

These are an essential part of modelling and acting and the more you attend the more your baby/child gets seen. Castings are usually held in a photographic, television studio or with the Casting Director. If your baby/child is selected from the casting then the Agency will be notified and given the full details of the assignment. However, if you are unsuccessful don’t panic as clients very often keep the photographs and audition tapes on file to look over for forthcoming shoots! Please remember at a casting or an audition you will always be photographed so take time to dress and style hair accordingly and organise the casting around young babies sleeps!!

BOOKINGS

When you are successfully confirmed for an assignment our model bookers or casting agents will liase with you and provide all the booking details including clothes, booking time, hair, location etc. They will ensure that you have all the information you need and offer advice if it’s your first booking!

STUDIO WORK

Modelling

This takes place in a photographic studio and the model (your child/baby) works alongside the photographer and stylists. Depending on the nature of the job you may work with several other models and even a famous face or two! Photographic work covers a range of products from fashion to toys including mail-order catalogues, magazines, brochures, holiday brochures, in-store posters, leaflets, knitting patterns, adverts etc. Our friendly Model Bookers will liase between yourself and the client to ensure that you have full details of the assignment and provide all the help and advice that you need.

Acting

When selected for a part in a TV Commercial, Programme or Film very often the filming takes place on a studio set alongside famous actors and familar faces! This is very exciting work but there can be some waiting around so make sure you take along something quiet to keep you entertained between takes!

LOCATION WORK

Location work is fun and exciting. Location sites can range from an adventure park in the UK, to a beach in the Mediterranean or a city in Europe depending on the nature of the assignment. Location work abroad includes expenses such as air fares, hotel accommodation and food not only for the model but for their chaperone too! Recently our models and actors have worked in Spain, France, Italy, Prague, Brazil, Dubai, Canada and the USA.
