How to be an Actor with EKA, EuroKids and EuroTeens

EKA , EuroKids & Teens is here to help you– whether you are new to the industry or looking to take your TV & film career to the next level. Due to the explosion of new satellite TV channels across the UK and Worldwide, the demand for TV and film actors, extras & presenters of all ages for TV, films, commercials, soaps and music videos is greater now than ever before.

There are many different ways you can start and progress in the television and film industry. Firstly, it is important to keep in mind that you do NOT necessarily need years of training, education and experience in order to have a successful career. EKA, EuroKids & Teens Casting Team dedicate their time to finding you the latest castings and auditions – meaning that anyone can become a star!

Becoming an actor and starring in television programmes and films is NOT impossible! It does take hard work and determination but we can help make this become a reality for you!

• Experience will certainly help you with your acting career, get as much experience as possible – this will help develop your confidence, skills and enhance your CV. Look into amateur theatre productions taking place near you and see if you can audition to be involved. Go for ‘Extras’ Work as very often whilst filming you can be selected for a ‘Featured’ role! Remember to add every bit of experience to your EKA, EuroKids & teens CV, keep our Casting agents uptodate with all your acting roles, even if it’s school plays, – this will make you more likely to be selected for the auditions and jobs!
• An education in acting is not compulsory but will certainly help. Have a look into different courses and of course, EuroKids & Teens Drama Workshops are available to everybody on our books between 6 to 19 years. This will give you a real taste of acting, as well as helping you to develop your skills and confidence.
